Event Description
Africanfest showcases visual and performing arts as well as the culture of people of African descent. Artists who participates in the festival are Diasporas from Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Sudan, Gambia, Zambia, Togo, Congo, Uganda, Somalia, Eritrean, Ethipoia, Burundi, Sierra Leone, the Carribbean and African Nova Scotian Community. Their artistic works include visual arts, drumming, jazz, hip-hop, gospel, spoken-word, etc.
