Seize The Time: Celebrating 50 Years of the Black Panther Party for Self Defence (1966-2016)

To mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Black Panther Party for Self Defence (1966 – 2016), Black History Studies presents a day of film screenings, debate and a Black Cultural Market to celebrate the founding of the Black Panther Party for Self Defence and asks the question ‘how is the Black Panther Party 10-point programme relevant to the progressive activism of today.

We will be screening the following films Malcolm X El Hajj Malik El Shabazz, All Power to the People: The Black Panther Party’ and Cointelpro 101 with discussion with activists from the UK.

Free Admission. Donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted.
