Nefateri Cards and Gifts

Hi, my name is Nefateri Candace Yaa Asantewa and I am the Creative Artistic Designer behind Nsaa Nefateri Black greeting cards and gifts.  Nsaa Nefateri was created to promote self-pride, beauty and recognition of Black Art and Culture.

The word Nsaa comes from one of the Adinkra symbols of Ghana representing originality, uniqueness and authenticity. Nefateri is an ancient African Queen and the word has been identified as meaning “beautiful companion”.  Thus when both words are united it opitomises the very essence of the range of African greeting cards presented to you.

I am a self-taught handmade greeting card designer & publisher; making cards first as a hobby back in 2006.
After the initial launch of my creative work into the market place and the huge response I received, I was encouraged to go ahead and establish my unique range of authentic greeting cards to the masses.  The Black greeting card industry here in the UK is a  largely untapped cultural niche that needs positive representation.

Nsaa Nefateri is an exciting  Brand with a beautiful range of authentic African greeting cards inspired by African & Caribbean influences, here in the UK.  We specialise in designing and creating cards that represent the Black/African community in the UK.
