A birth doula provides the support, advocacy, and education that are necessary during the pregnancy process. A doula’s goal is to reduce stress, manage pain and advocate for the healthy birth of your child or children. A birth doula supports your goal to achieving the birth you want in the parameters of safety, education and advocacy.
As a trained medical social worker of over 15 years, denise has experience working in hospitals, birth centers and with home births. Wherever you give birth, Denise will be there for you until you are bonding and stable with your newborn.
Services Provided include: first time pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, same sex partners, twin pregnancy, birth plan development, breastfeeding support and single mothers, just to name a few.
